From a standing start in 1994, Rican Securities has discreetly built up a portfolio of assets now valued in the tens of millions.

Whilst early profits were derived from trading situations, it has always been our diligent, analytical and professional approach that has allowed us to grow as an investment company.

Additionally, because we are a small, tight-knit team, we seek to specialise in identifying property situations where ‘larger’ vendors are either unable or unwilling to devote the necessary time and effort to extract best value.We take what we do very seriously and are resolutely single-minded in adding value wherever possible; to us, there seems little point in taking any other view.

Whilst our principal area of interest remains High Street Retail, it is ironically in the Office markets where we have perhaps been most successful.

From the day we began, our business philosophy has remained unchanged in that apart from repayments to mortgagees, we never owe any money, always ensuring that bills are paid by return. We research all potential projects quickly and thoroughly before making bids; in this way, we ensure that we maintain our track record of never having agreed a deal and then not proceeded.
